Prem Reddy

He immigrated from Indian in 1976. He is a board-certified physician in internal medicine and cardiology having performed over 5000 cardiac procedures. He is a fellow of American College of Cardiology and the American College of Chest physicians. He began his medical practice in the High Desert region of Southern California and is as a gifted cardiologist. In the early 1980s, he founded Desert Valley Medical Group in Victorville, CA and established Prime Care Medical Group in 1992. He also founded PrimeRX, with 250,000 managed care patients, generating over $500 million in annual revenues. He built Desert Valley Hospital from the ground up, which today stands as the flagship hospital in the top-rated California healthcare system known as Prime Healthcare Services. Dr.Reddy is a dedicated family man. He married his wife Venkamma in 1974 who is a distinguished physician in her own right. Together they raised two daughters and a son. Dr. Reddy founded Prime Health Care Foundation in 2006, a 501 (C) public charity with millions of dollars in charity. The foundation owns acute care hospitals that serve the needs of the underserved communities. Most recently Reddy as turned his attention to his homeland having bestowed generously to several charities in India where he is determined to make a lasting impact.
