Began selling generic version of glyphosate, main ingredient in Monsanto's Roundup herbicide, after patent expired in 2001. Bought Argentinean factory to manufacture chemical, gained edge over competition. Expanding to Europe, Brazil. Sales now $1.1 billion, up 38% from last year.
