Steven R. Berlin, a native Pittsburgher, is currently Chairman of the Board of Directors of Orchids Paper Products. Previously, he served as a director of North American Palladium, Ltd. until May, 2014 and on the Board of PetroCorp prior to its purchase by Unit Corporation in 2004. Berlin retired from Kaiser-Francis Oil Company where he was Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Prior to that, he taught at the University of Tulsa for three years where he also served a term as acting associate Dean of the College of Business. Before joining the University of Tulsa, Berlin was Senior Vice-President of CITGO Petroleum Corporation. Berlin worked for CITGO (and its predecessors) for twenty-four years progressing from junior auditor to Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Berlin has a Bachelors degree from Duquesne University, an MBA from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and has completed the Executive Management Program at Stanford University. He is a CPA and has been honored with a Sells award (top 50 nation-wide) for his performance on the CPA Exam, a lifetime achievement award from the American Accounting Association, selection as the Oklahoma Outstanding CPA in Industry by the OSCPA and twice received finisher medals for the Boston Marathon. Steve is active in civic, industry, and educational organizations including terms as a director of Goodwill Industries, CASA, Tulsa’s Red Cross chapter, the AICPA, the Tulsa Industrial Authority and Tulsa’s City Trash Authority (TARE).
