Chris Gunkel

Chris Gunkel is the Director of Organizational Development for Major, Lindsey & Africa based in Maryland. In this role, Chris supports MLA's growth both in service offerings and geographical locations while assisting the organization both strategically and tactically. Chris joined MLA following a 19 year career with Aerotek, an Allegis Group company. While there he held several senior level positions including most recently, Director-Human Resources. In this position, Chris was responsible for overseeing all HR functions for the Central, Midwest, Northeast, and Canadian regions as well as Strategic Sales and Operations (SS&O). These regions were responsible for over $2 billion in annual revenue. Prior to his career in human resources, Chris spent 12 years in sales and operations serving as a recruiter, salesperson, Director of Business Operations (DBO), and a Director within Professional Development. Chris and his wife, Kim, reside in Baltimore City and have a son and a daughter, Liam Patrick and Sadie Olivia. He enjoys outdoor activities of all sorts, boating, and spending time with his family.
