Marshall B Payne

Marshall Payne is a founding partner of CIC and its current Chairman of the Board. Previously, Marshall was a partner of the private equity group of Cardinal Investment Company, the predecessor of CIC, with various roles since 1983. He serves as a director of Specialty Bakery, L&L Foods, Dale Gas Partners and Schuepbach Energy. He is a former director of SPG, OmniSYS, Ace Cash Express (Nasdaq: AACE) and Restoration Hardware (Nasdaq: RSTO). In addition, Marshall serves on the advisory councils for The Laura Bush Foundation for America's Libraries and the Stanford University School of Humanities, Arts and Sciences, and he is a member of the Madison Council of the Library of Congress.
