Frank E. English, Jr. has been Senior Advisor at W.W. Grainger, Inc. since 2011. Mr. English has been Consultant/Senior Advisor to Morgan Stanley & Co. since February 2009. From 1976 to 2009, Mr. English served in various senior roles at Morgan Stanley & Co. and served as its Managing Director and Vice Chairman of Investment Banking from 2002 to 2009. He held positions in research, investment banking, capital markets and fixed income at Morgan Stanley & Co. He spent a considerable part of his career at Morgan Stanley & Co. analyzing and advising companies in the automotive industry. Mr. English has been a Director of CBOE Holdings, Inc. since 2012. He has been an Independent Director at Arthur J Gallagher & Co., since May 2009 and Tower International, Inc. since August 24, 2010. He served as a Member of the Board of Advisors at Tower International, Inc. since September 28, 2010. He also attended Columbia University Graduate School of Business prior to enlisting in the U.S. Army in 1969. Mr. English holds a B.B.A. from the University of Notre Dame.
