Lindsay Rosenwald

Dr. Lindsay A. Rosenwald received his medical degree from Temple University School of Medicine in 1983, since then he has been devoted to and essential in the founding and global development of many public and private biotechnology and life-science companies. 
Dr. Rosenwald also attained a Bachelor of Science degree in finance from Pennsylvania State University in 1977. He has been at the forefront of biotechnology on Wall Street for over 20 years. Dr. Rosenwald was one of the few Physician Analysts on Wall Street in 1986. Using his knowledge of the medical and financial industries he created Paramount Biocaptial in 1991. He is considered one of the world’s most prolific entrepreneurs in the history of the biotechnological industry. Dr. Rosenwald has been the founder and chairman of the following companies, that fall under the umbrella of the Paramount Group of Companies: Paramount BioSciences, a pharmaceutical development and health care investment firm that supports new biotechnology companies globally. Paramount Corporate Development, a company that makes drug and corporate development feasible for Paramount’s portfolio companies. Paramount BioCapital, a FINRA-registered broker-dealer that raises capital for Paramount’s portfolio companies and has raised approximately $950,000,000 since its formation. Dr. Rosenwald is the President of the Rosenwald Foundation, a charitable body in New York which assists exceptional scientists in their continued efforts towards research and development to further the advancement of biotechnology. The Rosenwald Foundation has also donated millions to many worthy educational institutions. Dr. Rosenwald is also a member of the Columbia-Presbyterian Health Sciences Advisory Counsel. The Columbia Presbyterian Health Sciences Advisory Council meets twice yearly, presenting the Award for Distinguished Service to individuals whose work has made a singular impact on society’s health and well-being. Dr. Lindsay A. Rosenwald has been a substantial pharmaceutical and biotechnology financier for over 10 years. His success and knowledge originated from the diversification and depth of his pharmaceutical and biomedical business and investment background, which includes investment banking, venture capital, merchant banking and asset management. Dr. Rosenwald has created many affluent careers for MDs, PhDs, MBAs, attorneys and related professionals by heading up and adroitly operating the Paramount Group of Companies.
