Andy Berlin (Washington, D.C.) is a Senior Advisor of Perseus. Prior to joining Perseus in 2009, Mr. Berlin was Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of The United Network, the international marketing communications division of WPP Group, based in London. Prior to WPP, he was founder and Chairman / Chief Executive Officer of Berlin Cameron and Partners, New York. Prior to that, he was President of Doyle Dane Bernbach, New York. Before that, he was co-founder and co-Chairman of Goodby, Berlin & Silverstein, San Francisco. Mr. Berlin has been a friend and occasional advisor to Perseus for the past 15 years. While at Duke University, he founded and directed a filmmaking department and media center and was Executive Director of a television policy task force that advised the FCC. Mr. Berlin has advised several U.S. Presidential campaigns and has been responsible for the communications of a number of the world's most valuable brands, including Coca-Cola, the National Basketball Association, Volkswagen, and the Wall Street Journal.
