Kenneth M Socha

Senior Managing Director, joined Rappahannock Investment Company, the predecessor of Perseus, in 1991. Prior to joining Perseus, Mr. Socha practiced corporate and securities law as a partner of Lane and Edson and, thereafter, of Dewey Ballantine in New York City. From 1985 to 1992, Mr. Socha devoted a substantial amount of his time to the representation of Wesray Capital Corporation and its affiliates. Mr. Socha serves on the Board of Directors of the following Perseus portfolio companies: Baumot AG, Pinacl Solutions UK Ltd., Puralube, Inc., Seismic Equipment Solutions II, LP, and The Vehicle Production Group LLC. Mr. Socha also serves on the Board of Directors of Clean Energy Fuels Corp., a former Perseus portfolio company. Mr. Socha was a contributing author of the first edition of The Art of M&A: A Merger Acquisition Buyout Guide, published by Dow Jones-Irwin. Mr. Socha holds a B.A. in English Literature from the University of Notre Dame and a J.D. from Duke University School of Law.
