US Representative for Colorado's 2nd district. Elected in 2018. Worked for Holland & Hart which lobbied against magazine limits while on the CU Board of Regents. Ran for Colorado Secretary of State and lost, then appointed as the Director of Colorado Dept of Regulatory Agencies by John Hickenlooper. Resigned after 2 years to run for Polis's vacated seat in CD2 and took a job with Snell & Wilmer as a regulatory lawyer. Receives most donations form large law firms, particularly Brownstein, Hyatt et al and Holland and Hart, Hogan and Lovells, and Ameripac.
