Richard I Altman

As Chief Operating Officer, Rick Altman is responsible for overseeing key operational areas including loss management, mortgage insurance operations, and continuous improvement. He also has executive oversight on security issues related to the company’s information processes and data exchange, including records management, business continuity, business compliance, the information security council, and data governance. Mr. Altman previously held the positions of chief risk officer and chief administrative officer, as well as several other strategic planning and operationally oriented positions. Before joining Radian in 2003, Mr. Altman held several executive strategic planning and operational positions at Citibank, American Express and Pearson. Prior to that, he served as a change management consultant with Accenture. Mr. Altman received a BA in International Political Economics from the University of California at Berkeley and an MBA from New York University's Stern School of Business. He currently serves as the Chairman of the Economy League of Greater Philadelphia.
