David J Beidler

Dave Beidler is president of Radian Asset Assurance Inc. Mr. Beidler joined Radian Asset in 1992. He has held a variety of senior positions during his career at Radian Asset. Most recently, Mr. Beidler held the position of executive vice president and chief operating officer of Radian Asset, focused on credit, business strategy and operational issues related to all aspects of the company's financial guaranty business. He was promoted to president in January 2009. Prior to joining Radian Asset, Mr. Beidler served as vice president and counsel for Bond Investors Guaranty Insurance Company, where he provided transactional and surveillance legal advice. Mr. Beidler has also served as vice president and assistant general counsel for Ambac Assurance Corporation, where he performed a similar role. Prior to this, Mr. Beidler was associated with the law firm of Mudge Rose Guthrie Alexander & Ferdon, in its public finance department. Mr. Beidler received a bachelor's degree from Oberlin College and a J.D. from Brooklyn Law School. He is the Vice Chair of the Association of Financial Guaranty Insurers, the financial guaranty industry trade association, and a member of the Association of the Bar of the City of New York.
