Marc Short, Koch Industries, is currently a senior advisor to Vice President-Elect Mike Pence. Previously, Short served as President of Freedom Partners. Before that, Short served as chief of staff for the House Republican Conference, chaired by Congressman Mike Pence (R-IN) and for Senator Kay Bailey Hutchison (R-TX). In his early career, Marc was the executive director of the Reagan Ranch, where he completed the initial multi-million dollar capital campaign to preserve the historic property and served as the executive director of Freedom Alliance from 1995-1998. He was also the director of the Virginia Finance Committee for the Oliver North for U.S. Senate campaign. Marc graduated from Washington and Lee University in 1992. In 2004, he received his master’s degree from the Darden Graduate School of Business Administration at the University of Virginia. He lives in Arlington with his wife and their three children.
