Catherine Ann Stevens advises clients across a variety of issues and topics, including government-related concerns, oil and gas, natural resources, healthcare, transportation, aviation, corporate, museum administration and patrimony disputes, charitable foundations and medical research institutions. Catherine joined Mayer Brown in 2001. Previously, she served as Executive Director of the Terra Foundation for the Arts (1996–2000), with executive responsibility for art museums in Chicago, Illinois and Giverny, France. Catherine also served as General Counsel for the National Endowment for the Arts, Washington, DC (1992–1993) and for Occidental International Corporation (1989–1991). Earlier, she held the position of Alaska Counsel for a joint venture petrochemical project (1979–1980). From 1975 to 1979, she was a partner with an Alaskan law firm, with a practice in oil and gas and aviation law.
