With over 30 years of experience accomplishing major change in multiple organizations, David Humenansky is a Senior Executive Advisor with Booz Allen Hamilton. He formerly served as a Senior Vice President located at the firm's Herndon, Virginia, office. He contributes to the firm his expertise in transformation and change management, and has been highly effective assisting government and commercial clients in conducting large-scale organizational and operational change. In addition, he serves as the sponsor of the firm's Transformation Life Cycle intellectual capital and creator of the Change Management Advanced Practitioner graduate-level certification course. A proven leader in Booz Allen’s business transformation effort, Mr. Humenansky’s key skills are concentrated in: Business process reengineering Process evaluation and implementation Strategic planning and communications Organizational analysis, modeling, and design Organizational effectiveness and productivity improvement Performance management Benchmarking Program and project management Change management Transformation solutions He has been involved in numerous engagements to support Booz Allen clients with effective solutions, including: Designing and restructuring a US federal agency to emphasize customer focus and service to the public, including enterprise-wide transformations of structure, process, performance management, information technology, and change management. As a result of Booz Allen’s efforts, the project was completed a year ahead of schedule and public perception of the agency has dramatically improved. Designing and implementing a three-year program at a federal agency to embed quality and continuous improvement into its disability programs. The new program vision will significantly influence outdated disability regulations and includes many of Booz Allen’s recommendations, including a new office of quality, in-line quality processes for disability program operating components, new responsibilities for the agency’s disability policy office, and more. A respected expert in his field, Mr. Humenansky authored the article "Advice+Dissent Viewpoint: The Maze of Change," which appeared in Government Executive magazine. Prior to joining the firm, he worked at VECTRA Technologies as a senior vice president, and served as a vice president at United Energy Corporation. Mr. Humenansky received a B.S. degree in engineering from the US Naval Academy and an M.S. degree in systems simulation from Michigan State University. He graduated from Harvard’s Executive Advanced Management Program in 1992.
