Frank Scaturro was a 2014 Republican candidate who sought election to the U.S. House to represent the 4th Congressional District of New York. He was defeated by Bruce Blakeman in the Republican primary on June 24, 2014. He was previously a 2012 Republican and Conservative Party candidate who sought election to the U.S. House to represent the 4th Congressional District of New York. He lost the Republican primary but won the Conservative Party primary as a write-in candidate. He lost in the general election. He was also an unsuccessful candidate in the 2010 Republican primary. Scaturro is an attorney. He graduated magna cum laude with his bachelor's degree from Columbia University and earned his J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania School of Law. He has been an aide to the U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee and worked on the nominations of Supreme Court Justices John Roberts and Samuel Alito.
