Michael E. Meyer has developed a national reputation as one of the preeminent leasing attorneys in the United States. Meyer is a member of DLA Piper's firmwide Policy Committee and is the managing partner of DLA Piper's Los Angeles offices. Meyers is on the Board of Directors of the Sheriff's Youth Foundation, Los Angeles Police Foundation, Reviving Baseball in Inner Cities, and LA Sports & Entertainment Commission. In March 2007, Real Estate Southern California magazine published "The Laws of Baseball," an article focusing on Meyer's lifelong love of baseball and his service on the Board of Directors of the Jackie Robinson Foundation.
