Mr. Zimlich is the Chief Executive Officer of Bohemian Companies, a group of family-owned real estate and private equity holdings. Previously, Mr. Zimlich served as a manager in mergers and acquisitions, and as a specialist in the not-for-profit and banking industries, at an international accounting firm. He has also worked at the director level for Fortune 500 companies, in the technology and food products industries. Additionally, he has served at the executive level for privately held companies in the technology industry, as well as for a number of start-up businesses. In recent years, Mr. Zimlich has exercised his interests in social justice and progressive policy through serving on the Board of Directors of ProgressNow, and through his membership in the Democracy Alliance and Colorado Democracy Alliance. Mr. Zimlich graduated from the University of Iowa with a Bachelor’s of Business Administration degree in Accounting. He is a Certified Public Accountant and a Professional in Human Resources. He is active in his community of Fort Collins, Colorado, notably with his involvement as a member of the Colorado State University Board of Governors and a number of non-profit organizations.
