She is an expert in human rights, constitutional law, and advocacy for members of racial and religious minorities, women, children, and persons with disabilities. Minow has served on a variety of commissions, including the Center for Strategic and International Studies Commission on Countering Violent Extremism and on the Independent International Commission Kosovo. She serves on the boards of the Advantage Testing Foundation, the Carnegie Corporation, the Russell Sage Foundation, the SCE Foundation, public broadcaster WGBH, and the Council for the American Bar Association Center for Innovation. Minow is a member of the American Academy of Arts & Sciences.
