Bob Diamond has spent his career at the intersection of business, communication and journalism. He was a staff writer of The Arizona Republic and the Los Angeles Times as well as an associate editor of FORTUNE in New York. He later served as a vice president of Reliance Group, and as a vice president and director of public relations worldwide for the Chase Manhattan Corporation under chairman David Rockefeller. For 17 years until his retirement he served as senior vice president and member of the senior staff management committee of The Dun & Bradstreet Corporation. Bob received his A.B. in political science from Claremont McKenna College (Claremont Men’s College) in 1961 and his M.S., with honors, from the Graduate School of Journalism at Columbia University in 1967. Bob is a third-generation Phoenix native, but has spent virtually his entire career in New York. Bob and his wife, Susan Scripps ’61, live in Scarsdale, NY and Scottsdale, AZ.
