Irving Domingo Lorenzo Jr. was the DJ-turned-record producer known professionally as Irv Gotti. The co-founder with his brother Chris of the Murder Inc. hip-hop label recently inked a $300 million deal with Iconoclast for a 50-percent ownership stake of his master recordings, plus funding for film and TV projects. Irv Gotti, died age 54 in February 2025, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The cause of death has not yet been announced, but THR noted that the music impresario had suffered a stroke last year.
