John Evangelakos is co-head of the Firm’s Cybersecurity Practice and the Firm’s Intellectual Property & Technology Group and a member of the Firm’s Mergers and Acquisitions Group. Mr. Evangelakos has led transactions in a wide variety of industries, including in the technology and cybersecurity sectors and in the financial services sector. Mr. Evangelakos has advised clients on issues relating to unauthorized access to customers’ personal data, disclosure considerations arising out of unauthorized access to servers and confidential information, coordinating with federal law enforcement officials and regulatory authorities, governance responsibilities for cybersecurity, and the assessment and oversight of vendors with respect to cybersecurity matters.
