Parker H Petit

Parker Petit, a major Republican donor known as Pete, was the Georgia finance chairman of Mr. Trump’s 2016 campaign and was convicted of securities fraud in November 2019. One of the lobbyists closest to Mr. Trump and his administration, Matt Schlapp, who was tapped by Mr. Trump last month to sit on the trust fund board for the Library of Congress, has been lobbying for weeks for a pardon for Petit.
