Patrick Ramsey '90 is a managing director and co-head of Americas mergers and acquisitions at Bank of America Merrill Lynch. Over his career, Ramsey has worked with clients on a broad range of domestic and cross-border M&A situations, including acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures and raid defense in a variety of industry sectors. Ramsey has advised on approximately 100 closed transactions totaling approximately $300B in transaction value over the last 20 years. Ramsey has advised The Home Depot, GE, Dow, Univar, Polyone, Eastman Chemicals, Huntsman, Procter & Gamble, Dupont, Susser, Vulcan Materials and other clients on a wide range of other transactions over his career. Ramsey joined Merrill Lynch in global mergers and acquisitions in 1995. Prior to Merrill Lynch, Ramsey worked for Kidder, Peabody & Co. in investment banking, where he focused also on mergers and acquisitions.
