Carl Eklund has been a partner in the Denver office of Ballard Spahr LLP since 2003 and in 2011 he became Senior Counsel. Ballard Spahr is a 500-attorney law firm with 13 offices across the country. Prior to moving to Ballard Spahr, Carl was the Managing Partner in the Denver office of LeBoeuf, Lamb, Greene & MacRae, LLP from 1994 to 2003 when the Denver office was closed and as Managing Partner of the Denver office of Faegre & Benson, LLP from 1988 to 1994. Carl is a well-known bankruptcy attorney and a Fellow in the American College of Bankruptcy, who has specialized in the insolvency bankruptcy area of law for over 40 years here in Colorado, throughout the Rocky Mountain Region and the nation.
