Marston started Election CFO to provide campaign finance services to Republican candidates, PACs, and party committees in 2009 after serving the George W. Bush Administration as Assistant Secretary for Management at the Department of Education. Before joining the Department of Education, he served as White House Liaison at the U.S. Department of the Interior. Prior to that, he served as Washington Office Director for Ohio Gov. Bob Taft. In his first tour of duty in the Bush Administration, he served as Chief of Staff at the Office of National Drug Control Policy. He served several years in the House of Representatives before joining the Executive Branch. Marston is also President of the Library of Virginia Foundation and volunteers with the Boy Scouts of America and several other community organizations.
