Ryan J Thompson

Ryan J. Thompson, who was appointed as a Student Trustee on August 8, 2012, is a senior majoring in Political Science and minoring in economics. A Canton resident, he is active on campus as a student research assistant with the Ray C. Bliss Institute of Applied Politics and as a member of Pi Sigma Alpha. In addition, Ryan has worked on campus in Dining Services and Student Life, and off campus for Truliant Federal Credit Union. He has interned for Ohio House District 99 State Representative Casey Kozlowski, the Ohio House Republican Organizational Committee and, in summer 2013, the Inter-university Consortium for Political and Social Research at The University of Michigan. After graduation, Ryan plans to pursue a Ph.D. in political science. (Term expires 2014)
