Mr. Rose is Executive Vice President, Head of Federal Account Government Management at Thomson Reuters. In this capacity, his responsibilities are focused on delivering customized information and technology solutions to civil agencies and defense and intelligence organizations of the U.S. government. Prior to joining Thomson Reuters, Mr. Rose was Managing Director, Global Head of Sales and Marketing for the Financial Analytics and Structured Transaction (F.A.S.T.) group at JPMorgan Chase. Previous to JPMorgan Chase, Mr. Rose was a Senior Managing Director at Bear Stearns. In addition to holding similar responsibilities to those that he held at JPMorgan Chase, Mr. Rose was a member of the Senior Relationship Management Committee which had responsibility for coordinating the largest accounts across the firm. Earlier in his career, Mr. Rose built and managed sales operations at major financial service firms with concentration in the foreign exchange, financial futures and derivative markets. Mr. Rose serves on the National Security Agency’s “Cyber Awareness & Response” panel that provides advice on policy, systems, threats, capabilities, mitigations to the Director of NSA in support of the government’s cyber-terrorism efforts. Mr. Rose was a founding member of U.S. Secret Service’s N.Y. Electronic Crimes Task Force established to prevent and detect attacks on the nation’s financial and critical infrastructures. Mr. Rose received special recognition by the U.S. Secret Service for his “Outstanding Dedication and Contributions.” During the Carter Administration, Mr. Rose received a one-year appointment to the U.S. Department of Commerce, where he supported an inter-agency effort of the National Security Council’s Special Coordinating Committee to Combat Terrorism. During the Clinton Administration, Mr. Rose received a presidential appointment to the J. William Fulbright Board of Foreign Scholarship which provides oversight as well as establishes policies and procedures with respect to the administration of the Fulbright Program. Mr. Rose has held a variety of leadership and board positions in political, religious and philanthropic organizations and was honored by the Connecticut Yankee Council of the Boy Scouts of America with its “Distinguished Citizen Award.” Mr. Rose received a fellowship from Wexner Heritage Foundation. Mr. Rose earned a B.S. in international economics from Georgetown University and a M.P.A. from Harvard University. He resides in Westport, Connecticut with his wife and has three grown children
