Frank Dulin has spent over 30 years in the mining industry, the majority of which have been in top management roles. Today, Dulin is a Swanson Vice President, responsible for all business activities at Morgantown Technical Services and Morgantown Machine & Hydraulics of WV, Inc., the largest mining hydraulic repair organization in the U.S. Since 2001, Dulin’s leadership has significantly increased revenues for both companies resulting in a 200% gain at Morgantown Technical Service and a 60% jump at Morgantown Machine & Hydraulics of WV, Inc. Due to Dulin’s commitment to corporate reinvestment and facility expansion, both companies are now market leaders in mining cylinder repairs, longwall roof support repairs, and new longwall pump stations. Dulin began his career at Morgantown Machine & Hydraulics in 1980, holding various engineering and operations management positions with the company. In 1995, Dulin was hired to lead Swanson Plating Company into longwall component repair business that resulted in a new company, Morgantown Technical Services, which focuses on the repair of longwall roof supports. Dulin holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering from West Virginia University. He has attended post-graduate mechanical engineering courses including Advanced Strength of Materials and Finite Element Analysis.
