Zack Cooper

Zack Cooper is a Research Fellow at the Center for Strategic and Budgetary Assessments where he focuses on U.S. grand strategy, defense policy, global posture, force structure, and emerging national security challenges. Zack previously served in various positions at the Pentagon and White House, including special assistant to the Principal Deputy Under Secretary of Defense for Policy and assistant to the Deputy National Security Advisor for Combating Terrorism. Zack is a Ph.D. candidate in Security Studies at Princeton University. He received his B.A. from Stanford University and an M.P.A. from Princeton University’s Woodrow Wilson School.
