Jeffrey T. Buley specializes in election law, healthcare law and related transactions, and government relations. Mr. Buley served as Special Counsel to Senate Majority Leader Joseph Bruno from 1995 through 1998. During that time, Mr. Buley concentrated on issues in healthcare, health and human services, welfare, the mental hygiene laws and alcohol and substance abuse. Previously, Mr. Buley served as Counsel to the New York State Association of Counties, and served as the Chief Counsel to the New York State Senate Health Committee. Mr. Buley also has extensive experience in election law and campaign finance issues. Mr. Buley served as General Counsel to the New York Republican State Committee from 1991 through 2006. In 2002, Mr. Buley was General Counsel to the re-election campaign of New York Governor George Pataki. In 2004, Mr. Buley served as Counsel to the Bush/Cheney ’04 campaign in the state of Nevada. In 2005 & 2009, Mr. Buley was Counsel to the re-election campaigns of New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg. In 2012, Mr. Buley served as Counsel to the Romney for President campaign for the state of Florida. Mr. Buley is currently Counsel to the Joe Lhota for New York City Mayor campaign.
