Dede Hapner

Dede Hapner is the Executive-in-Residence at University of Michigan's ERB Institute 'Business for Sustainability' division. She held a distinguished career at PG&E, where she started in 1985 as a regional public affairs representative, becoming the VP for Regulatory Relations in 1998 and holding various VP-level position until 2017 when she retired from the company. Prior to PG&E she managed several government projects and NGOs. Hapner holds a bachelor’s degree in political science and a master’s degree in American politics from the University of Michigan. She also has an MBA from the University of San Francisco.
