Edward J Parry III

Parry, 44, joined Allmerica as a mergers and acquisitions specialist in 1992. He was appointed Vice President and Treasurer in 1993 and has played a lead role in all the critical strategic and financial initiatives undertaken by the company over the past 10 years including, notably, Allmerica's conversion to a public company in 1995. Parry was elected Chief Financial Officer and a member of Allmerica's Operating Committee in 1996 and was instrumental in developing and implementing the company's recent restructuring effort. He was named Executive Vice President in October 2003. Prior to joining Allmerica, Parry served in management positions in both the Boston and Providence offices of PricewaterhouseCoopers. He is a graduate of Bryant College from which he received a degree in Business Administration and is a resident of Cumberland, Rhode Island.
