Ernest Steiner is the retired Vice Chairman and President of Louis Dreyfus Holding Company, part of the Louis Dreyfus Group, an organization of diversified companies with North American headquarters in Wilton, Connecticut. He also served as the Chief Operating Officer and Finance Director of S.A. Louis Dreyfus et Cie., the parent company based in Paris, France. A graduate of Cornell University, Steiner worked for Price Waterhouse before joining Louis Dreyfus 35 years ago. He and his wife Anna live in Darien, Connecticut and are active supporters of the Jackie Robinson Foundation and the Ronald McDonald House. Steiner serves on the American Advisory Board of the London Symphony Orchestra and the Senate of the German International Graduate School of Management and Administration in Hanover, Germany.
