In 2002, Stephanie P. McClelland founded Green Curtain Productions (GCP), her theatrical producing company, currently represented on Broadway by THE BOOK OF MORMON, AN AMERICAN IN PARIS, THE COLOR PURPLE, FIDDLER ON THE ROOF and THE HUMANS. GCP impressive catalogue of more than 80 shows worldwide has garnered numerous accolades including 232 Tony nominations, 61 Tony awards,168 Drama Desk nominations, and 60 Drama Desk awards. Ms. McClelland has personally received a Tony Award for THE HUMANS (Best Play 2016), THE COLOR PURPLE (Best Musical Revival 2016), VIEW FROM THE BRIDGE (Best Play Revival 2016), SKYLIGHT (Best Play Revival 2015), ALL THE WAY (Best Play 2014), A RAISIN IN THE SUN (Best Play Revival 2014), THE BOOK OF MORMON (Best Musical 2011), RED (Best Play 2010), JOURNEY’S END (Best Play Revival 2007), THE HISTORY BOYS (Best Play 2006), SPAMALOT (Best Musical 2005), GLENGARRY GLEN ROSS (Best Play Revival 2005). Also active in London, Ms. McClelland has been a producing partner on THE BOOK OF MORMON, LA BETE, THREE DAYS OF RAIN, MARGUERITE, LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS, SUNDAY IN THE PARK WITH GEORGE, THE DROWSY CHAPERONE, SPAMALOT. Ms. McClelland graduated with honors, Phi Beta Kappa, from Stanford University, with a BS in Mathematics and an MS in Operations Research. A consultant in the field of criminal justice in both California and New York, Ms. McClelland subsequently spent eight years at CBS in the Broadcast Group performing financial and strategic planning. In 1981, she was instrumental in the development and operation of CBS Cable, the first arts-oriented cable channel. During her 21 years as a trustee of the Juilliard School, she has focused on promoting the work of the Drama Division. In 2010, Julliard named the Drama mainstage after her, the Stephanie P. McClelland Drama Theatre. She served on the Board of London’s Donmar Warehouse for 12 years and is currently on the Board of American Associates of the National Theatre (AANT).
