With more than 25 years of professional experience working with family offices and advising families on their total wealth management, Steve Braverman serves as Co-CEO of Pathstone Federal Street. He is a Partner and a voting member of the firm’s Investment Committee, as well as serves on the firm’s Executive Committee and Board of Managers. Prior to Pathstone Federal Street, Braverman served as an Executive Managing Director at Pathstone Family Office. His professional experience also includes serving as president of Harris myCFO Investment Advisory Services, LLC. In that role, he had broad national responsibility for all aspects of myCFO’s investment platform. Within the broader Harris enterprise (myCFO’s parent company), Braverman had the distinction of representing the ultra high net worth market segment on the Senior Management Committee for Harris Private Bank. Braverman frequently speaks at industry conferences and is a regular contributor to the media on a wide range of subjects regarding high net worth families, their investment options and an integrated approach to achieving multigenerational goals. In 2007, he was nominated by Institutional Investor’s Private Asset Management magazine for Family Office of the Year. Braverman was the first recipient of Societe General’s “Leading Edge Advisor” award in 2008 and was ranked (No. 3) for Investment News’ list of “RIA Giants Top 50” independent registered advisors list. Worth Magazine recently identified him as a “Leading Edge Advisor” and profiled him in their May/June 2009 issue. In addition, Pathstone Family Office recently won the 2013 PAM Award for Best Multi-Family Office of the year. Braverman has authored a number of White Papers highlighting how families of wealth can think about their investment challenges and opportunities. His work on the very innovative “Dual Asset Class” approach to Asset Allocation has been featured frequently in the press. Outside of his professional commitments, he is actively involved with various local and not-for-profit organizations in a range of capacities. Braverman is on the Englewood Hospital and Medical Center Foundation Board of Trustees, Yale-New Haven Hospital Investment Committee. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania, and attended the Keller Graduate School of Management MBA Finance Program.
