Jair founded his company, JAIR LYNCH Development Partners, in 1998 with a commitment to urban regeneration that responsibly transforms metropolitan markets through the creation of extraordinary neighborhoods. He has since managed more than $840 million of development and construction projects in California and Washington, D.C., involving new builds and historic preservation, institutional and multi-family residential uses, and mixed uses. The Thurgood Marshall Center, D.C. Public Library, Department of Parks & Recreation Development Program, McMillan Sand Filtration Site, Solea Condominiums, and Paul Laurence Dunbar Apartments are among his firm’s many projects throughout the national capital region. In all, Jair’s company has empowered people and created prosperity by providing more than 1.6 million square feet of community-serving facilities and 1,400 units of housing. After obtaining dual degrees in civil engineering and urban design from Stanford University, Jair was a John L. Loeb Fellow at Harvard University’s Graduate School of Design. He has served on the boards of the United States Olympic Committee, the Federal City Council, and the D.C. Building Industry Association. He and his wife, Jocelyn Sigue, are the parents of Pilar Lynch ’27.
