After helping to develop the issues agenda for the successful 1993 election campaign of Mayor Rudolph Giuliani, Seth joined the new administration as a special assistant to the First Deputy Mayor and advised senior officials on transportation, infrastructure, and environmental issues. He participated in emergency management planning and preparedness exercises related to civic infrastructure and municipal facilities. Seth represented the Office of the Mayor in various aspects of the interagency and multilateral negotiations that produced the historic New York City watershed protection agreement in 1997. He was also a senior advisor to the 1998 New York City Charter Revision Commission. |
