Dontai Smalls, Vice President of Global Public Affairs, UPS
Dontai Smalls joined the UPS Global Public Affairs function in October 1999. In his current capacity as vice president, he coordinates all international issues on Capitol Hill for UPS, particularly trade and customs modernization policy, as well as UPS’ global aviation portfolio in Washington, DC. He is responsible for managing the relationships between UPS and Europe and the relationship between UPS and the Congressional Study Groups. Smalls serves as chair of the board at UPO and sits on the board of the Washington Government Relations Group and of DC Scores. He is the treasurer of the International Aviation Club. Smalls received his J.D. from the Georgetown University Law Center and his B.A. cum laude from Howard University. He resides in Capitol Hill with his wife, Jennifer, who is a partner at an education law firm.
