Eliot Lauer

Eliot Lauer is a co-chair of the Litigation Department at the international law firm of Curtis, Mallet-Prevost, Colt & Mosle LLP, and has been with the firm since 1974. He has extensive experience representing clients in complex civil and criminal matters in federal and state courts, and is an experienced federal and state appellate advocate. He has tried criminal and civil cases involving commodities fraud, transactions in government securities and commodity futures, market manipulation, accountants’ and other professionals’ liability, false advertising, contract and agency disputes involving real estate, product liability and other commercial transactions. Mr. Lauer is admitted to the New York State and District of Columbia Bars, the United States District Court both for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York, the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit and the United States Supreme Court. He received his law degree (cum laude) from the Fordham University School of Law, and his bachelor’s degree from Yeshiva College.
