Mary W. Navarro is senior executive vice president and regional banking group president Huntington Bancshares Incorporated. Navarro, who has 30 years of banking experience, is responsible for the bank’s consumer and commercial strategy, including the sales and lending functions, product management, the delivery network and marketing. She also provides direction to the bank’s eight regional teams. Prior to joining Huntington in 2002, Navarro served in several capacities at Bank One, rising to the position of executive vice president and Eastern Region retail manager. She also previously held positions with Michigan National Bank in Grand Rapids and East Lansing State Bank as a banking office manager and teller, respectively. Navarro earned a master’s degree in management from Aquinas College and a bachelor’s degree in international business from the University of Colorado. She currently serves on the boards of directors of the Recreation Unlimited, American Red Cross of Greater Columbus and the Consumer Banker Association.
