Blaine F Wesner

Mr. Blaine Wesner was a Special Limited Partner at Austin Ventures. Mr. Wesner joined Austin Ventures in 1990 and was a General Partner for nearly 15 years. He focused on services and special situations investing. He was involved with the growth equity aspect of the firm. He was also an Advisory Partner at Santé Ventures, LLC. He was with Goldman, Sachs & Co. and also co-founded Wesner Publications. He serves on the Boards of Beecher Carlson, Revenue Cycle Solutions and United Country. He serves as a Director of Tyrell, Inc., LumaTherm Inc and Truckload USA, Inc. Mr. Wesner served as a Director of Monitronics International, Inc., since October 1994. He served as Director at Optimum Outcomes, Inc. He was the President of the Student Association at University of Oklahoma. Mr. Wesner retired from active investing in 2009, but continues to be an active supporter of the Texas entrepreneurial community as well as many Austin-area charitable and community service organizations. Mr. Wesner received an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School and a B.A. from the University of Oklahoma, where he graduated with highest honors and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa.
