Eugene Sepulveda has served as the CEO of the Entrepreneurs Foundation of Central Texas since 2005. He concurrently serves as the President & CEO of two NPR affiliates, Marfa Public Radio and KXWT in Midland-Odessa. Eugene brings 30 years experience from banking, high tech startups and higher education to his role at the Entrepreneurs Foundation. He’s long advocated contributing time, talent & treasure at the intersection of one’s Gifts, one’s Passion and the Community’s Needs in order to make a real difference. As a community volunteer, Eugene serves as VP of the board for the KDK-Harman Foundation, as well as on the boards of the Entrepreneurs Foundation, Marfa Public Radio, the McDonald Observatory's (board of visitors) and as chairman emeritus for PeopleFund. Eugene previously taught social entrepreneurship & global business at UT's McCombs School of Business, served as CFO for an Austin-based semiconductor startup, and was senior vice president lending and international business for two major Austin banks. Mr. Sepulveda held earlier volunteer leadership roles on the boards of the Greater Austin Chamber of Commerce, Austin Community Foundation, Leadership Austin, the Austin-Travis County HIV Commission, Austin Museum of Art, and LiveableCity. He and his husband, Dr. Steven Robert Tomlinson, are members of St. James Episcopal Church and support several community initiatives and the arts through their fund, ABPorter.
