Jason Cross

Dr. Jason Cross joined Whitebox in 2002 and manages the Equity Long Short Trading Strategies. Prior to joining Whitebox, Dr. Cross spent two years working with Nobel Laureate Myron Scholes at Oak Hill Platinum Partners where he developed quantitative models for long/short equity strategies. Dr. Cross received a BS in Mathematics and Statistics in 1993 from the University of British Colombia. He received a Ph.D. in Statistics from Yale University in 1999 and holds an MBA from the University of Chicago earned in 2007. His dissertation was published in the Journal of Mathematical Finance.
