Oldest son of slain Lebanese Prime Minister Rafic Hariri separated from family's business in 2008, and now runs his own real estate and investment vehicle from Monaco. Real estate arm Horizon Development partnered with Jordanian government to build a $5 billion new urban area in downtown Amman. Expanded his main line of business, logistics & transportation, by merging with logistic company Globe Express Services. In 2010 bought logistics company Globe Express Services. Investment arm Farass has stakes in high- tech companies, including Apple. Most investments are now outside of Lebanon. Pledged $15 million for a new computing institute at Boston University, his alma mater.
