Mr. Jaunich is founder and managing partner of Calera Capital, formerly Fremont Partners, which manages $1.8 billion targeted to make and oversee majority equity investments in operating companies representing a broad spectrum of industries. Calera Capital was spun out from Fremont Group, a private investment corporation that manages assets of $4.0 billion, which Mr. Jaunich joined in 1991 and where he served as a member of the Board of Directors. Mr. Jaunich serves as a member of the Board of Directors of Direct General (auto insurance). He is trustee of the non-profit National Recreation Foundation and serves on the President's Advisory Council of Boys and Girls Clubs of the Peninsula as well as the Board of the Palo Alto Medical Foundation (PAMF). He is a life member of the World Presidents' Organization and was a member of Young Presidents' Organization (1980-1990). Mr. Jaunich received a BA from Wesleyan University, Middletown, Connecticut and an MBA from Wharton Graduate School, University of Pennsylvania. He is Chairman of the Director Affairs Committee of the Board.
