Thomas F Gilbane III

Principal at Rockpoint Group, L.L.C., a global real estate investment management firm. Since 1995, Rockpoint’s management team has sponsored eight opportunistic funds, one lower-risk, lower-return structured finance fund, and five co-investment vehicles that represent more than $10 billion in capital commitments and approximately $33 billion in real estate-related assets based on total capitalization. He is involved in the oversight of Rockpoint’s Domestic U.S. investment and asset management activities. Mr. Gilbane joined Rockpoint's predecessor, Westbrook Real Estate Partners ("WREP"), in August 1999. Prior to Rockpoint, he was involved in WREP’s Eastern U.S. and European investment and asset management activities. Prior to joining WREP, he worked for two years in the Real Estate Investment banking Group at Merrill Lynch. A graduate of Brown University, B.S. in Engineering, Mr. Gilbane is an Overseer for the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum, a director of Gilbane Inc. and is actively involved with Children’s Hospital.
