Senior Managing Director and Member of Executive Committee at Angelo, Gordon & Co. Mr. Roberts joined the firm in 1993 and manages the firm's private equity and special situations area and was the Founder at the firm's opportunistic real estate area. He has invested in a wide variety of companies and special situations including companies in the business services, healthcare ... services, telecommunications, and financial services industries. Previously, Mr. Roberts was a Principal at Gordon Investment Corporation, where he participated in a wide variety of principal transactions. Prior to that, Mr. Roberts worked as a Senior Vice President of Corporate Finance Department at L.F. Rothschild, where he specialized in mergers and acquisitions. He has been a Director of Portfolio Recovery Associates Inc. since March 1996. Mr. Roberts serves as a Member of the Board of Managers of Metropolis Realty Holdings L.L.C. He holds a B.S. in Economics from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
