Azita Raji is a Trustee of Barnard College, where she serves as Co-Chair of the Development Committee, and Member of the Executive Committee, Investment Committee, and the Strategic Planning Advisory Group. She also serves as Co-Chair of the Athena Leadership Council of Athena Center for Leadership Studies at Barnard College, and as Member of Barnard's International Advisory Committee. Ms. Raji is a past Member of Barnard's President's Advisory Council. As a former banker at JP Morgan, Ms. Raji worked in Tokyo and New York, specializing in structured fixed income products and emerging markets. Ms. Raji now lives in the San Francisco Bay area, where she has served on a number of local boards and committees. She is currently a Member of the National Advisory Board of Democratic National Committee, and serves as Member of the National Finance Committee and Regional Finance Co-Chair for Obama for America. In addition to her Barnard degree in Architecture and French, Ms. Raji holds an MBA in Finance from Columbia Business School, and is a Chartered Financial Analyst. Ms. Raji has lived and worked extensively in the Middle East, Europe, and the Far East, and speaks several languages.
