Arcilia C Acosta

Arcilia Acosta is the founder, president and CEO of CARCON Industries & Construction, specializing in commercial, institutional and transportation design and build construction. She is also the founder and CEO of Southwestern Testing Laboratories, whose principal business is geotechnical engineering, construction materials testing and environmental consulting services. Ms. Acosta is a former chair of the Texas Association of Mexican American Chambers of Commerce, on the state board of the Foundation for the Education of Young Women, past chair of the Greater Dallas Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and on the boards of the Dallas Citizens Council, the University of Texas Southwestern Board of Visitors, the Texas Tech Alumni Association and the Dallas Education Foundation. She is a graduate of Texas Tech University and the Harvard Business School Corporate Governance Program.
